Testimonials from Kathleen's mentees:
  • "It was really an amazing experience. Now I know much more about leadership styles, and with a new technique, as it was online, which helped me to use the internet more easily. I also learned about the skills a leader has to have, like flexibility, patience, and creativity. I really loved the course. First I'll improve my leadership style to be a very effective leader and carry out more steps in my project, and second, I'll think more about which steps I can take to make sure my project has a long future." - Shaymaa
  • "The course was unique chance for me, it gave me the chance to explore my own skills in a better way, and even more to understand my personality as I never did....I liked the idea of a discussion forum, I enjoyed reading the opinions of my colleagues, and how everybody think in a different way. Also the feedback about our assignments was very valuable. This is the first time to take online course, but it was very interesting and useful. [The course] really encouraged me to be more active in my community, and the skills that I gained by this course will be a very good help for me, I will practice what I have learned in my future work." - Basela

  • "A very beneficial course, very much above my expectations. It made me dig out my personality from beneath the rubble of inner confusion and conflict. This course actually woke me up to my inner strength at the right stage of my life. " - Nawar
  • "This course was very important in understanding leadership styles. It helped me locate my style and more importantly understand how to invest in my strengths, overcome my weaknesses and benefit from potentials for growth. I am now empowered with essential knowledge to plan and implement my vision of change. This was not possible have I not participate in this course....The instructor was very great and a good listener. She supports her academic knowledge with pratical and real examples. This was important to understand how theory is transferred into practice....Believe me this course mobilized me and encouraged me to initiate what I have been dreaming of since 2001. Yes I now feel I can do change after I have been theorizing it for almost 9 years." - Rama
