Center for Liberty in the Middle EastCLIME is a Washington, D.C. based registered 501(c)(3) non-profit non-governmental organization which supports individuals and groups in the Middle East that promote democratic values of liberty and tolerance. By supporting the work of democratic activists, CLIME advocates peaceful transitions to political systems in the Middle East that protect individual liberties, enable a higher level of political participation, and respect ethnic, religious and political diversity. CLIME conducts training to help activists improve their grassroots outreach, communications and advocacy skills, and educational projects to deepen understanding of liberal democracy. e-Learning Arabiae-Learning Arabia (eLA) provides international and regional educational solutions by leveraging the latest ICT technologies combined with sound pedagogical theories. It offers high quality e-learning and e-training solutions in terms of content production coupled with effective instructional design techniques as well as educational platforms in cooperation with its partners.

The Egyptian Center for Development and Democratic StudiesThe Egyptian Center for Development and Democratic Studies (ECDDS) works to develop and support democratic practices in Egypt. It promotes the principles of citizenship and human rights and the values of citizen participation within society, strengthening Egyptian civil society as a whole. ECDDS develops programs that provide opportunities for gaining new skills and promote ongoing dialogue. Some of these programs include:
- Providing training for youth
- Providing free legal help and guidance to the impoverished
- Giving legal support to programs that encourage freedom and democracy
The George Washington University Graduate School of Political ManagementThe Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) is a professional school of politics at The George Washington University. The first school of its kind in the United States, GSPM seeks to improve politics by educating its students and professionals in the tools, principles and values of participatory democracy, preparing them for careers as ethical and effective advocates and leaders at the international, national, and local levels. Over 250 GSPM students are planning for careers in professional politics by pursuing one of three master’s degrees or two graduate certificates offered by the School. GSPM’s alumni, numbering more than 1,600 individuals, work in Congressional offices, public affairs, political and issue campaigns, trade associations, lobbying firms, and consulting. The Interaction Forum in JordanThe Interaction Forum is an independent non-for-profit development firm dedicated to advancing means of freedom of expression; support the democratization process in Jordan and the Arab World, and conducting Arab-Israeli peace-building projects in the Middle East.
The Middle East Partnership Initiative The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) supports efforts to expand political participation, strengthen civil society and the rule of law, empower women and youth, create educational opportunities, and foster economic reform throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
