Mentor - Polish Your Public Speaking Skills

Deb Sofield is the Public Speaking Mentor for the Online Activism Institute.  Deb is the president of her own Executive Speech & Presentations Coaching Company, which trains women and men for success in speaking, presentation skills and message development in the United States and internationally.

Deb is President of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale, and is a visiting professor at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where she teaches public speaking at the Women in Public Policy Program. She is a lecturer at the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications and teaches at the Thurmond Institute’s Self Civic Fellows program, Ethics in Government, at Clemson University.  

Deb has travelled with the International Republican Institute (IRI) to Sri Lanka and Indonesia where she taught “Communications Training for Civil Society.”
