Annie Mayol

Annie Mayol, president and founder of IMAGEN Strategies, has more than ten years of experience in the field of public relations, grassroots development and political campaigns. She helped design the Online Activism Institute's "Build Your Activism Plan" course and other instructional materials.
Mayol has managed several federal, state and local political campaigns in states like Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the territory of Puerto Rico. She has worked extensively with both mainstream and Spanish media. Most recently, Annie Mayol served as Regional Political Director at the White House Office of Political Affairs, overseeing the Northeast region. As Regional Political Director, she served as the liaison between local elected officials and Republican activists in the Northeast states and the White House.
In 2004, she served as Campaign Manager to now Congressman Luis Fortuño from Puerto Rico, the first Republican Puerto Rican elected to Congress in a century. In 2002, Annie Mayol served as Director of Hispanic Outreach for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), with Senator Bill Frist as Chairman. As Director, Mayol was the point of support and advice to all Republican Senatorial campaigns with regards to Hispanic voters and acted as key spokesperson for the NRSC in the Hispanic media.
Annie was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
